Become a Volunteer!

We are a 501c3 Non-Profit organization that provides direct support to qualified charities in our community through our annual music and motorcycle festival. The 2027 Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest will take place Friday, March 19, 2027 through Sunday March 21, 2027. Event setup begins Tuesday March 16, and cleanup should be complete no later than Tuesday March 23. The 2027 event will benefit Rolling Thunder of Florida.

Our Board of Directors and entire staff are volunteers, we have no paid employees. Volunteers may participate in our events or organization temporarily, or as a long term staff volunteer.

We will provide documentation of community service hours for volunteer participation upon request by the volunteer. All volunteers must complete the attached Release of Liability form.

There are a number of volunteer opportunities and we encourage volunteers to identify specific skills or abilities they may have. Opportunities include but are not limited to event set up, clean up, staff positions such as parking attendants, security, facilities and operations, planning, marketing, social media management, attendee interactions and public relations.

Volunteer assignments will be based on individual skills and abilities, availability and volunteer interests. Volunteers interested in participating in event setup, cleanup or during the actual event should contact:

VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT, RELEASE & HOLD HARMLESS

Thank you for volunteering with the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest. Please read the following carefully before submitting this form.

VOLUNTEER STATUS

I understand and acknowledge that submitting this Volunteer Form is not an application for employment and does not constitute an offer of employment or a paid position. My participation is strictly voluntary. I understand that I will not receive wages, salary, benefits, or other compensation for my volunteer services.

I understand that I may be assigned duties and responsibilities by the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest and that I am expected to follow reasonable instructions, event rules, and applicable safety procedures while volunteering.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand that participating as a volunteer at the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to walking or standing for extended periods, working around crowds, motorcycles, vehicles, temporary structures, equipment, weather conditions, and other event-related activities.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation as a volunteer, including the risk of personal injury, illness, death, property damage, theft, or loss.

RELEASE & HOLD HARMLESS

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I hereby release and agree to hold harmless the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest, its organizers, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, and volunteers; the City of Inverness, including its officials, employees, agents, and representatives; and the event's sponsors, vendors, contractors, exhibitors, and their respective officers, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation as a volunteer, including claims involving personal injury, illness, death, property damage, theft, or loss, except to the extent such release is prohibited by applicable law.

I understand that this agreement is intended to apply to claims arising from my participation in the event and volunteer activities, whether occurring before, during, or after the event, to the extent permitted by law.

RESPONSIBILITY & CONDUCT

I agree to follow the rules, policies, safety procedures, and reasonable instructions established by the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest and its authorized personnel.

I understand that the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest reserves the right to discontinue my volunteer participation at any time if my conduct, actions, or failure to follow instructions creates a safety concern or otherwise interferes with the operation of the event.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT & AGREEMENT

By submitting this form, I acknowledge that:

• I have read and understand this Volunteer Agreement, Release & Hold Harmless.

• I understand that volunteering does not create an employment relationship or entitlement to compensation.

• I voluntarily assume the risks associated with my participation.

• I agree to the release and hold-harmless provisions stated above to the fullest extent permitted by law.

• I have had the opportunity to ask questions regarding this agreement before submitting this form.

• I am voluntarily choosing to participate as a Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest volunteer.
