About Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest

The Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest is more than a motorcycle rally—it’s a celebration of motorcycles, live music, freedom, friendship, and the people who make Florida’s Nature Coast such a special place to ride.
Originally established as the Hernando County Bike Fest and renamed in 2021, Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest has grown into one of the region’s premier motorcycle events, bringing thousands of riders, motorcycle enthusiasts, vendors, musicians, families, and visitors together for a weekend of entertainment, camaraderie, and community.
Held at Whispering Pines Park in Inverness, Florida, the Bike Fest features live music, motorcycle vendors, food, attractions, demonstrations, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow riders. With approximately 15,000 attendees and 70 vendors participating in recent years, the event continues to grow while staying true to its roots: a motorcycle event built by bikers and for bikers.
More Than a Motorcycle Event
Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest is operated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, allowing us to put our commitment to community service and charitable causes at the center of what we do.
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to giving back—especially to the veterans and organizations that serve our communities.
Our event proudly supports organizations and causes that serve our veterans, riders, and local communities. Our Veterans Village provides a dedicated space to honor the men and women who have served our country and to connect attendees with organizations working to support veterans.
The Bike Fest has partnered with organizations including Rolling Thunder® of Florida, Honor Bound, ABATE of Florida, and Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) to help shine a spotlight on the sacrifices made by our veterans and the organizations that continue to serve them.
The 2027 event will feature the 60-foot Vietnam Veterans Memorial Traveling Wall, brought by Rolling Thunder® of Florida, along with additional military and historical displays designed to educate, remember, and honor those who served.

Our mission is simple:
Create an unforgettable motorcycle event that celebrates the freedom of the open road, supports our veterans and community organizations, showcases the best of the motorcycle industry, and brings people together through a shared passion for riding.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we believe a great motorcycle event can do more than entertain. It can create opportunities to support charitable organizations, honor our veterans, strengthen our local community, and make a positive impact beyond the weekend itself.

Our Board Of Directors
The Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors committed to building a premier motorcycle event while giving back to our community. Our Board brings together experience, passion, and a shared commitment to supporting veterans, charitable organizations, local communities, and the motorcycle lifestyle.
Our Board members serve voluntarily and receive no compensation for their service. They donate their time, experience, and countless hours throughout the year because they believe in the Bike Fest, our community, and the causes we support.
Together, they help shape the vision, oversee the organization, and ensure Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest remains a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on the principles of community, service, freedom, and giving back.
Mike Martini

Mike Martini serves as Director of the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest and has dedicated himself to building a stronger motorcycle community throughout Florida’s Nature Coast. A longtime rider and event organizer, Mike has helped guide the growth of the Bike Fest into a major annual gathering for riders, families, veterans, and motorcycle enthusiasts.
Beyond the Bike Fest, Mike is the founder of the Florida Nature Coast Biker Community and is also a host and DJ with Steel Horse Radio, connecting him with riders, events, and the broader motorcycle industry throughout the region.
As Director, Mike oversees the overall vision and direction of the Bike Fest, including partnerships, sponsorships, entertainment, community relationships, and event development. His goal is to create more than a motorcycle event—a place where the riding community can come together, support worthy causes, honor veterans, and celebrate the culture that brings riders together.

Ted Smith brings decades of experience and deep roots in America’s custom motorcycle industry to the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest. As part of the legendary Rat’s Hole Custom Bike Show family, Ted has been immersed in the world of custom bikes, builders, artists, and motorcycle events for much of his life.
The son of Rat’s Hole founder Karl “Big Daddy Rat” Smith, Ted carries forward a family legacy that has helped shape the custom motorcycle scene for generations. As Vice President of the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest, he brings that experience, passion, and industry knowledge to help make the Bike Fest a premier destination for riders and motorcycle enthusiasts.

Roberta Oldread is a longtime rider and a cornerstone of the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest leadership team, serving as Secretary and Vendor Coordinator. She previously served for years as Secretary and Trustee of the Freedom Chapter of Florida ABATE, bringing a long history of involvement and service within Florida’s motorcycle community.
At the Bike Fest, Roberta takes on the immense task of coordinating, placing, and managing the event’s extensive vendor footprint year after year. She dedicates countless hours behind the scenes to keeping the site organized, operational, and ready for thousands of riders and guests. Her experience, dedication, and commitment to the riding community make her an essential part of the Bike Fest team.
Michael DeFelice

Michael DeFelice is the founder of the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest and a longtime member of both the motorcycle and veteran communities. A U.S. Army veteran, Michael dedicated nine years to building the organization and its mission, serving as Director for the majority of the Bike Fest’s 38 monthly events and leading the major three-day festivals in 2022, through 2026.
Today, Michael serves as Logistics Coordinator and Consultant, keeping his experience and knowledge actively involved behind the scenes while allowing more time for his family. His years of leadership, military background, and deep understanding of motorcycle events make him an invaluable part of the Bike Fest’s foundation and continued success.
Carmine (Ragoo) Colalucci

Known throughout the motorcycle community as “The Big Ragoo,” Carmine has been a foundational part of the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest since its inception nine years ago. A longtime member of the motorcycle community and advocate for fellow riders, Carmine has also been involved in charitable efforts supporting bikers in need.
As Entertainment Director, Ragoo is responsible for booking talent, coordinating stage operations, and creating the entertainment experience that has become a defining part of the Bike Fest. As the festival’s recognizable MC, his unmistakable voice, humor, and larger-than-life personality keep the crowd engaged from the first act to the final encore.
For nine years, Carmine has helped give the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest its voice, energy, and personality.
Sue Martin

Sue Martin is a dedicated member of the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest team and officially joined the Board of Directors this year as Volunteer Coordinator. Before stepping into her board role, Sue spent a full year working hands-on in the very position she now leads, gaining firsthand experience in the demands of coordinating our volunteer force.
Today, Sue oversees the organization, scheduling, and communication of the many volunteers who make the Bike Fest possible. Her hands-on experience, reliability, and commitment to the event help ensure that our volunteer team is organized, supported, and ready to keep the festival running smoothly.
Ray Addison
Military Liaison

Ray Addison serves as Military Liaison for the Florida Nature Coast Bike Fest, bringing years of leadership and service within both the veteran and motorcycle communities. He is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), where he serves as a Ways and Means Committee Officer and as a Rifleman with the VFW Honor Guard, participating in ceremonies honoring those who have served.
Ray is also a longtime member of Rolling Thunder®, having founded and served as President of Chapter 5. His experience with the organization and commitment to the veteran community have made him a natural connection between the Bike Fest and the veterans it honors.
A longtime rider as well, Ray previously served as a Ride Guide for Harley-Davidson of Naples, bringing extensive firsthand experience from the motorcycle industry and riding community.
As Military Liaison, Ray helps lead the Bike Fest’s veteran initiatives and works to ensure that honoring our nation’s veterans remains a central part of the event.
